Location: Reading, Bristol, or Crawley
Hybrid Working (Minimum 3 days at the office)
Join Thales OME (Optronics and Missile Electronics), designing electro-optic sighting and sensor systems for land, maritime, and air applications. Support strategic direction and future development of electro-optic systems through R&T projects spanning TRL 1-6, including studies, laboratory work, customer projects, and prototypes. Focus on electro-optic sensors, imaging, optical design, algorithms, machine learning, and AI with a defence/security bias.
The ideal candidate will be based in the south of England, with regular travel to Glasgow and Reading, and potential international travel to other Thales sites and partners.
