Job summary

Leightons Opticians is seeking a qualified Optometrist in Southampton to join our experienced team. You will perform comprehensive sight tests and eye exams, conduct retinal imaging, and provide expert advice on eye health, delivering personalised care to patients.

You will work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, alternating Saturdays with potential flexible Wednesday shifts, reporting to the Branch Manager.

Qualifications

• Qualified Optometrist, fully GOC registered.
• Strong communicator in clinical settings.
• Commitment to high standards and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive sight tests and eye exams
• Conduct visual field and retinal imaging assessments
• Provide expert advice on eye health and preventative care
• Support the Branch Manager in tracking and enhancing performance
• Maintain and ensure all equipment is in top condition
