About the Job

As an Optometrist, you will conduct comprehensive eye examinations within 25-minute test slots, providing thorough patient care and using your clinical judgement to diagnose and manage a range of eye health conditions. You will advise customers on spectacle and contact lens options suited to their individual needs, while building lasting relationships and ensuring a positive experience at every visit.

You will work closely with the branch team to support excellent service delivery and contribute to the continued development of the practice. The role also includes opportunities to participate in local enhanced service schemes and pre-registration supervision where applicable.

Fully computerised systems, ongoing CPD training and access to an extensive e-learning system will support your clinical practice and continued learning.

What We Are Looking For

You must be a qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council. The role is suitable for both newly qualified and experienced practitioners, provided you are confident in your clinical skills and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

You should be able to conduct comprehensive eye examinations, manage a range of eye health conditions and provide clear, tailored advice on spectacles and contact lenses. You should also be motivated to maintain current knowledge through CPD and contribute positively to local services and, where applicable, pre-registration supervision.
