Specsavers in Treorchy is seeking an Optometrist to provide eye examinations and contact lens services, contributing to high standards of clinical care and customer service. The role offers a full-time 9am–5pm schedule, Monday to Saturday (37.5 hours across five days), with no late nights and flexible patterns to suit your lifestyle.

In October 2023, a new contract for the delivery of eye care services in the community came into force in Wales - Wales General Opthalmic Services (WGOS). Under the new regulataions, optometrirsts will be able to fully utilse their professional higher accreditations when delivering eye care at primary level.

Non-WGOS registered Optometrists can contact HEIW at for information on mandatory training and NWSSP at for information on registration.
