Your Role

Due to our extended service contracts with the NHS, we are committed to delivering a wide range of care for the treatment and monitoring of minor eye conditions.

A typical day involves screening patients, coaching and training the wider team, and helping to maintain standards in the department. We are passionate about providing our Optometrists with comprehensive training and development opportunities, including a fantastic CPD programme and protected time to complete further accreditations funded by Asda. This ensures you are well-equipped to meet the evolving eye care needs of our customers.

About You

You will be a fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC, and a registered performer with your NHS area team or health board. Accreditation with MECs or WECs is preferred, or willingness to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining, supported and funded by us. You should be on track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD.

You will use your clinical skills and passion to deliver a memorable customer experience, working in partnership with an Optical Manager and supporting the development of new patient services. You will be passionate about developing the department's culture and services to meet customer needs.
