Optical Express is seeking an Optometrist to deliver high-quality eye care across our St Albans and Stevenage clinics. You will work within a multidisciplinary team alongside ophthalmologists to provide comprehensive clinical services, including pre/post-operative care and refractive surgery support.

The role involves essential and advanced eye examinations, telemedicine patient care, and involvement in the referral triage process, with relocation support available for the right candidate.

Responsabilidades

• Pre and post-operative consultations for refractive and cataract surgery patients
• Providing clinical support to ophthalmologists during refractive surgery
• Being part of the multi-disciplinary YAG capsulotomy service and delivering these procedures
• Providing essential and advanced eye examinations for patients
• Communicate with and treat patients via telemedicine
• Provide clinical support to the hub administrative team where required
• In the referral triage team, review incoming referrals from optometrists, GPs and other primary care routes and allocate to the appropriate ophthalmology clinic

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an optometrist to provide care to patients from our clinic in St Albans and Stevenage.

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team alongside experienced eye care professionals, including ophthalmologists, and play a crucial role in the delivery of a diverse range of clinical eye care services to our patients.

• Pre and post-operative consultations for our refractive and cataract surgery patients
• Providing clinical support to our ophthalmologists during refractive surgery.
• Being part of our multi-disciplinary YAG capsulotomy service, delivering these procedures.
• Providing Essential and Advanced Eye examinations for our patients.
• Communicate with and treat patients via telemedicine.
• Provide clinical support to the hub administrative team where required.
• In the referral triage team, you will be responsible for reviewing incoming referrals from optometrists, GPs and other primary care routes, allocating them to the most appropriate ophthalmology clinic.
