Your Role

A typical day involves screening patients, coaching and training the team, and maintaining department standards. We are passionate about providing our Optometrists with comprehensive training and development opportunities, including a robust CPD program and protected time for further accreditations funded by Asda. We support your growth to meet the evolving eye care needs of our customers.

You will have access to in-store, regional, and home office support teams, ensuring guidance is always available for clinical or service-related queries.

About You

We value service excellence and creating memorable customer experiences. Working alongside an Optical Manager (qualified Dispensing Optician), you will contribute to a clinical and operationally excellent environment. Your role includes coaching, training, and developing new patient services to meet customer needs.

You will be:

  • A fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC
  • Registered with your NHS area team or health board
  • MECs or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months, funded and supported by us)
  • On track to meet CPD statutory points requirements
  • Interested in developing new patient services and shaping department culture
