About the Job
  1. Comprehensive eye exams: Perform detailed eye exams to identify, diagnose, and manage conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, and high blood pressure.
  2. Proficient in refracting.
  3. Prescriptions: Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids.
  4. Patient care: Provide pre- and postoperative care for patients undergoing eye surgery.
  5. Counseling: Counsel patients on eye and general health, including contact lens care, visual hygiene, and lighting arrangements.
  6. Collaborate with our team to provide comprehensive patient care. Refer patients to MD for any needed surgery as well as other healthcare providers as needed.
  7. Retail: Supervise the retail aspects of vision care products, including selling eye-care products.
Compensation

Total compensation may vary based on additional services, including call coverage and performance bonus. Compensation may also vary based on productivity after the initial guarantee period.

The right candidate will have a strong work ethic with great communication and surgical skills. He/she will be committed to growing the practice while establishing high-quality patient care. This opportunity requires services Monday – Friday (no evenings or weekends, unless you are covering call) in an office setting.
