Asda is seeking an Optical Manager in Hyson Green to lead a team of optometrists and optical assistants, ensuring high standards of patient care and compliance while delivering the store's fixed-price optical proposition.

You will manage operations, forecasts, performance feedback, and customer queries in a fast-paced environment, supported by Home Office teams and Area Managers.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC.
• On track to meet CPD points requirements.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Proven ability to drive customer and patient care.
• Experience managing optical teams in fast-paced environments.

About You

You will oversee and manage the entire operation, including managing a team of Optometrists and Optical assistants, overseeing compliance processes and procedures, reviewing sales forecasting and department targets, and dealing with customer queries.

You'll Be

• A fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC
• On track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD
• Confident in coaching others
• Able to provide excellent customer and patient care
• Driven and ambitious to ensure the department meets its targets
• Proven leadership skills in a fast‑paced Optics environment
• Organised and able to manage your time effectively
