Inspired Selections Group is seeking an experienced Optical Lab Manager / Senior Lab Technician in Birmingham for a full-time, 40-hour week. The role focuses on leading the in-house laboratory, glazing and finishing spectacles, and driving accuracy and efficiency across ~100 completed jobs per day.

You should have 3+ years in an optical lab role, with managerial potential, and a commitment to long-term stability within a well-established lab.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience as an optical lab technician.
• Experience in a managerial or senior technician role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and timekeeping.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day running of the optical laboratory.
• Glazing and finishing spectacles to high standards.
• Lead by example and develop junior team members.
• Improve lab efficiency and processes.
