What will I do as an Optical and Hearing Assistant?
This role allows you to be part of our family business's most important aspect. You will greet customers as they enter the store, setting a welcoming tone because personalising the customer experience is core to our values. This approach has contributed to our expansion to 35 branches since 1928.
Our OHAs play a vital role in customer-facing duties, including responsibility for pre-screening assessments and performing retinal imaging examinations using OCT and Optomap equipment, which are part of our ongoing development package.
We stock a wide range of frames and accessories from top brands, providing bespoke advice and support tailored to customers' prescription, style, and budget. Your expert insights will enhance our customers' entire hearing and eye care journey.
Am I suitable?
This Part-Time role at our Andover branch involves working 2 days per week, on Monday and Saturday. We seek individuals with strong customer service skills and a drive to go the extra mile. Experience in retail, hospitality, or caregiving is desirable but not essential.
