Location: Remote

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 (DOE)

A global leader in optical design is looking for a new Optical Design Engineer to join their rapidly growing R&D team developing products for a multitude of industries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Proven ability on optical design and simulation
2. Ability to lens design and lens data documentation
3. Working within a multi-discipline team to develop first stage prototypes
4. Experience in Monte Carlo analysis
5. Ability to practically test and measure ensuring accurate data

Qualifications:

1. Candidate must be able to obtain SC clearance
2. Bachelor's 2:1 or better degree level in Optics and/or Physics
3. Industrial experience in an optical system design & development function
4. Experience using Zemax design software
5. Positive, flexible approach to working with a 'can do' attitude
