Job Description:

My Client, one of the leading Optical Domiciliary Companies, is looking to recruit a full-time experienced Optical Assistant for Slough and surrounding areas. This is a Monday to Friday role (no weekends required). You will support the optometrist and carry out full dispense visits to patients in Care Homes and patients' own homes. Some days, you will work independently to perform fittings and aftercare.

It is vital you have a sympathetic approach and empathy, as most patients are elderly and some may be unwell. You will be expected to cover a radius of up to 50 miles from your home postcode. NB: You must be a confident driver with a full driving licence held for at least 2 years.
