Inspired Selections in Sheffield is seeking an Optical Assistant to join a respected independent optical business with well-established practices across the city.

This hands-on role covers dispensing, pre-screening, frame fittings and lens advice, with patient care at the heart of the journey; you’ll also support reception and contribute to business growth. Minimum 12 months’ optics experience required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in optics.
• Experience in dispensing and pre-screening.
• Strong customer service and sales focus with excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing to a wide range of patients.
• Carry out pre-screening tests confidently.
• Frame styling, fittings, adjustments and collections.
• Advise on suitable lens and frame options.
• Support reception and general admin duties.
• Maintain high standards of patient care throughout the journey.
• Actively contribute to business growth and customer engagement.
