Job summary

Specsavers in Grimsby is offering an Optical Assistant Apprenticeship designed for people who enjoy helping customers and are keen to start a career in optics. This full-time wage-based program includes training, development opportunities and a friendly team environment.

You will be welcomed into a supportive store team, learn to book eye tests, pre-screen patients, offer style advice and measure frames while progressing through the apprenticeship. Travel to the store daily is expected.

• Willing to train and develop skills through the Apprenticeship program.
• Able to work in a busy store environment and meet customers' needs.

Who is this Apprenticeship for?

If this is still sounding like a bit of you, we do need you to have a few skills to get started as an Optical Assistant Apprentice.

• Individuals with GSCE Maths at Grade 9-4 (A*-C), or an equivalent level qualification
• Individuals who have lived in the EU for 3 years or more, with the right to work in the UK
