Job summary

Specsavers in Cramlington is hiring an Optical Assistant Apprentice who loves helping customers and wants a career in retail and optics. This full-time apprenticeship lets you earn while you learn and gain hands-on experience from day one.

The role involves welcoming customers, booking eye tests, pre-screening patients, giving style advice, measuring frames and answering calls. No prior optical experience is required, and training is provided to build you up.

Qualifications

• Individuals with GCSE Maths at Grade 9-4 (A*-C), or an equivalent level qualification
• Individuals who have lived in the UK/EU for 3 years or more, with the right to work in the UK
