Job summary

Specsavers in Weston-super-Mare is seeking an Optical Assistant with a passion for optics and customer service. You’ll be the friendly face in-store, leveraging your experience in Optical Advisor, Contact Lens Assistant, Imaging Assistant or Dispensing Assistant roles to support customers and drive a welcoming store environment.

The role offers training and development opportunities, with a pay from £12.71 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous Optical Experience in roles such as Optical Advisor, Contact Lens Assistant, Imaging Assistant or Dispensing Assistant.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Comfort with using IT systems in a retail optical environment.

As an Optical Assistant, you’ll use your passion for Optics, our products and services alongside your incredible customer service skills, to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team.

Our warm and welcoming store, is centrally located in this wonderful seaside town and has great transport links.

• Full time (39 hours a week) OR part time for the right candidate (minimum of 3 full days a week)
