Job summary

Tria is seeking an Operations & Security Engineer in London with a hybrid working pattern (minimum one day per month in the office). The role combines infrastructure and security to modernise the technology estate and strengthen cyber resilience.

You'll split time roughly 60/40 between infrastructure and security, delivering projects, managing Azure and on-premises environments, and driving secure, compliant changes across the Microsoft stack. This hands-on position offers meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Microsoft infrastructure technologies.
• Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure and on-premises integration.
• Strong Active Directory and Group Policy administration.
• VMware/vSphere experience.
• Proven ability to manage server lifecycles and platform optimisation.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and cyber security best practices.
• Experience in cost-optimisation of Azure resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure implementation and improvement projects.
• Manage and optimise Microsoft Azure and on-premise environments.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and virtualised setups.
• Drive server lifecycle management and platform performance enhancements.
• Implement security improvements including AD reviews and policy hardening.
• Support Cyber Essentials compliance and secure design practices.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cloud costs and optimise usage.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation and ITIL-aligned processes.
• Support occasional out-of-hours releases and future on-call.
