Job description

Gizmo is a startup on a mission to make learning so easy and fun that anyone can learn anything. We're aiming to help 1 billion people learn by building Duolingo for Anything - a gamified way of learning anything!

We're an early stage well-funded startup that's grown 10X in the last year, with a million users a month. We now need a razor-sharp operator to keep the rocket ship stable. You'll be our first Ops hire and will work shoulder-to-shoulder with the three founders to build the people, finance and office foundations that let the product and engineering teams fly.

Responsibilities

  • People Ops: own recruiting pipelines, onboarding, payroll, contracts and compliance
  • Strategy: run analytics and create dashboards to keep us pointed in the right direction
  • Finance: run day-to-day bookkeeping, invoices, expenses, FP&A and cash-flow forecasting; coordinate with external accountants and investors
  • Process & Compliance: design lightweight, scalable processes, keep policies tidy and accessible
  • Office & equipment


Requirements
