Job description

Our client is looking for a dynamic and proactive Veterinary Surgeon with solid all-around skills. The ideal candidate will have a positive can-do attitude, be passionate about customer service, and be ready to embrace all aspects of the role to deliver excellent patient and client care.

Full-time position with 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday 09:00-19:00 with a 1-hour lunch break)

1 in 4 Saturdays (09:00-18:00) with no out-of-hours shifts

About the Practice:

The practice is based in the busy Brunel Retail Park, easily accessible from Reading centre by bus or car, with the M4 nearby and ample on-site parking. It benefits from a variety of cases and a loyal client base, dealing typically with 1st opinion cases including Orthopaedic and Laparoscopic surgeries. The surgery is well-equipped to industry-leading standards and includes facilities for Ultrasound, Digital X-Rays, Diathermy, Cautery, Acupuncture, Multi-parameter machine, In-house Biochem, and Haematology machines.

The Team:

The new colleague will be joining a team of 3 Vets, 2 RVNs, 3 SVNs, 2 VCAs, and 4 Receptionists. The practice owner, a Veterinary Surgeon with over 15 years in the industry, fosters a welcoming and supportive environment.
