We currently have a post available in our busy and constantly evolving Ophthalmology Day care unit- department and we are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Registered Nurse. Band 5 to join our team of nurses and staff.
The DCU on Alex Cross ward to deliver special care for ophthalmic surgery including elective and emergency services. Patient care/ day care unit facilities to these patients admitted at Western Eye Hospital. The Western provides a comprehensive range of general and specialist ophthalmic facilities and is equipped with some of the most advanced diagnostic and technical equipment currently available.
The Western Eye Hospital forms part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in the heart of Paddington, an area which is set to become one of the capital’s most attractive and vibrant centres.
In this role you will provide the best possible nursing care to patients with a wide range of ophthalmic conditions. You will have the opportunity to work in all the outpatient departments and there is scope to work in the other areas of the Hospital. You will develop skills in many of the diagnostic tests that our patients require.
There will be an opportunity to be rotate cross Sites within Ophthalmology Services.
