Job summary

Optegra is seeking a Bank Healthcare Technician to join our ophthalmology team in Wetherby on a zero-hour contract with flexible shifts. You will work closely with clinicians to deliver diagnostics, pre-assessment and post-operative ophthalmic care, supporting a multidisciplinary team in a private hospital setting.

Experience as an HCT/HCA in ophthalmology or theatre environments, plus Basic Life Support and strong IT skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a HCT/HCA in ophthalmology or theatre setting.
• Basic Life Support competency.
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and related systems.
• Highly organised with the ability to plan ahead and adapt to patient/customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver diagnostics, pre-assessment and post-operative ophthalmic care.
• Work with clinical colleagues and optometrists to ensure quality patient care.
• Support a multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards and patient satisfaction.
