Job summary
Medacs Healthcare is seeking an Ophthalmology Consultant to join a high-quality eye service in London on a locum basis. The role entails delivering outpatient, diagnostic and surgical ophthalmology care including cataract surgery within NHS pathways.

Qualifications
- Full GMC registration with licence to practise.
- Minimum six months NHS experience.
- Strong cataract surgery experience and broad general ophthalmology competence.
- Evidence of ongoing CPD.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outpatient, diagnostic and surgical ophthalmology services, including cataract surgery.
- Provide subspecialty expertise as appropriate to support the department.
- Work within multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient pathways.
- Support junior doctors and nursing teams.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in governance and service development.
