We are looking to recruit an individual to join our Ophthalmic Imaging Team at NHS Tayside.
You will be required to cover a range of ophthalmic imaging duties located at both sites, Dundee and Perth. Duties include:
The successful applicant should have good communication skills and a caring manner to work with all age groups and abilities of patients. They should be educated to standard grade level or equivalent and have good IT skills.
Experience in ophthalmic or medical photography would be desirable. However, a full in-house training package will be provided to the successful candidate.
All staff new to NHS Tayside will undergo a 12-week probationary period on commencement of employment. You will be required to complete a competency and assessment portfolio during this time, with support from the ophthalmic imaging team. You should be flexible and able to cover clinics across Tayside if required.
Your performance must comply with the national “Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers 2009” and with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.
Hours of work: 37 hours.
