Job summary

Optegra Eye Healthcare in Birmingham is seeking a Bank Scrub Nurse to join our private eye hospital. You will work within a multidisciplinary theatre team delivering pre-assessment, diagnostics and post-operative ophthalmic care.

This zero-hours contract offers flexible shifts; you will collaborate with clinical colleagues and optometrists to maintain the highest standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.
• Current NMC/ODP registration without restrictions.
• Minimum of one year theatre experience.
• Knowledge of private and operating settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide highest standards of care to patients within theatre.
• Collaborate with clinical colleagues and optometrists to deliver diagnostics, pre- assessment and post-operative ophthalmic care and treatment.
