Job summary

Optegra Eye Healthcare in Guildford, Surrey, is seeking a Bank Scrub Nurse to join our private Guildford Eye Hospital on a zero-hours contract. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering ophthalmic diagnostics, pre‑assessment and post‑operative care.

Applicants must be a Registered General Nurse or ODP with current NMC/ODP registration and at least one year of theatre experience; knowledge of private and operating room settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Be a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.
• Have a current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions.
• Previous theatre experience, minimum of one year.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest standards of care to patients in ophthalmic settings.
• Collaborate with clinical colleagues and optometrists to deliver diagnostics, pre-assessment and post-operative ophthalmic care and treatment.
