Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Adult with valid NMC registration or suitable alternative Ophthalmic qualification.
• Nursing study degree or Ophthalmic equivalent
• Evidence of post registered Ophthalmic education
• Working towards Non medical prescribers qualification or willing to undertake
• Consent Course

Responsibilities

• Lead nurse-led intravitreal injection clinics (IVT) for AMD and retinal conditions.
• Support triage of ophthalmic emergencies with timely assessment and management.
• Collaborate with Consultant Ophthalmologists and multidisciplinary team.
• Travel between sites to deliver service and ensure coverage across locations.
• Ensure safe, compassionate, patient-centred care with attention to clinical governance.
