Job summary

Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) is recruiting an Ophthalmic Imaging Practitioner to join the Ophthalmic Imaging team in the Ophthalmology Department. You will perform ophthalmic imaging, including OCT, slit lamp photography and FFA, and contribute to the expanding virtual clinic service.

The role involves autonomous imaging practice across all ages, teaching colleagues and engaging in departmental audit and research while maintaining infection control and clinical governance standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in photography or equivalent clinical experience in ophthalmic imaging.
• BSc Ophthalmic Imaging or BSc Photography is preferred.
• Ability to deliver ophthalmic imaging including OCT, slit lamp photography and FFA.

Responsibilities

• Undertake ophthalmic imaging using OCT, slit lamp photography and FFA.
• Work within ophthalmology virtual clinic to support patient assessments.
• Participate in teaching and audit within the imaging team.
