Job Description: Opex Business Controlling Manager - UKI Wholesale

This role is within the UKI Wholesale Controlling team at EssilorLuxottica, a global leader in ophthalmic lenses, frames, and sunglasses. The position involves developing and maintaining financial planning, management reporting, and analysis to support senior leadership decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the OPEX Budget / Forecast process, ensuring accuracy and consistency through stakeholder reviews.
  2. Manage risks and opportunities related to the Budget / Forecast.
  3. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  4. Review monthly spend versus previous year and budget, analyzing main cost drivers.
  5. Implement best practices in expense tracking and reporting.
  6. Identify and pursue cost reduction and optimization opportunities.
  7. Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  8. Adhere to internal financial controls, procedures, and deadlines.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects.
  10. Manage and develop direct reports to meet objectives.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • 5-10 years of experience in cost control, financial reporting, planning, and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and teams.
  • Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills.
