WEEKLY WORKING HOURS: 37

SALARY RANGE: £24,790 to £25,584 pa – pro rata for hours worked

TYPE OF CONTRACT: Permanent

LOCATION: Stevenage

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our Stevenage Direct Services team, undertaking varied and essential tasks to complete street cleansing maintenance works within the town of Stevenage.

Experience in the industry is desirable, with an ability to build strong team relations, use initiative to problem solve, and a keen eye for detail to ensure a high standard of work is completed.

Tasks undertaken include:
  1. Litter picking – removal from residential streets, highways, parks, and retail areas.
  2. Street Bin Maintenance – managing the 1300 street bins within Stevenage.
  3. Graffiti – removal of illegal graffiti imagery and tagging.
  4. Leafing – seasonal collection of fallen leaves.
  5. Mechanical Machinery – use of equipment such as jet wash, scrubber dryer, and vacuum collection machines.
