Job summary

The Speedy Group in Newport is seeking a hands-on Workshop Operative to support our depot, warehouse, logistics and engineering teams. You’ll operate a forklift, load/unload vehicles, prepare and test hire equipment, and help manage stock to keep equipment moving and the operation running smoothly.

This 40-hour-per-week role offers a 9-day fortnight, generous holiday allowance, pension, life assurance, and development opportunities across the depot.

Qualifications

• FLT experience is essential.
• Current FLT licence is preferred.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Hands-on approach and safety focus.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Operate an FLT to move equipment safely around the depot.
