Job summary

Une agence de recrutement recherche un Operative pour soutenir la chaîne d'approvisionnement au port de Barton Upon Humber. Des shifts de 12 heures sont à prévoir, avec un salaire compétitif de 14,50£ de l'heure.

Responsibilities

• Supporter la chaîne d'approvisionnement du Royaume-Uni à partir du déchargement jusqu'à la distribution.
• Conduite d'engins lourds sur le site portuaire.
• Exécution de divers rôles opérationnels sur site.

12 hour shifts ongoing.

Must be flexible for days and nights.

Plant licences highly desirable.

What is the job role of an Operative?

Stafforce port operatives support the UK's supply chain from discharge to distribution.

No two days are the same in shipping and a port operative may cover many different roles which include:

Stevedore / Quayside duties
Plant driving including Forklift Trucks, Payloaders, Shovels, Tugs and Mobile harbour cranes
Weighbridge or Gatehouse
Stock counts
Industrial cleaning
Traffic Marshall and Vehicle banksmanDesirable:

Full UK driving licence
Valid or Expired Counterbalance Forklift Truck
HGV licence
Valid or Expired Payloader / Shovel Licence
Experience in similar role such as port operative, stevedore, CSCS labourer, plant driver, forklift driver, shovel driver, vehicle banksman, slinger banksman, crane driver, quarry operative, warehouse operative, weighbridge is highly desirable
Previous experience working with commodities such as Steel, 1t Bags or Timber
Experience operating a radioSkills, experiences & qualifications

Full UK Driving License
Ability to operate heavy plant and machinery including material handlers, telehandlers and loading shovels
Good communication skills
