Qualifications

Volunteer Action runs a community car scheme to support essential trips and appointments, as well as a befriending service to reduce isolation and promote social connection.

Role Description

The Operations & Volunteer Support Lead is a part-time, on-site role based in Oundle. This position oversees the day-to-day coordination of Volunteer Action’s services, including scheduling and managing the community car scheme and supporting the befriending service. The role includes providing support and guidance to volunteers, maintaining accurate records and databases, and ensuring clear communication between volunteers, service users, and partner organizations. The Lead will help improve processes, handle routine inquiries, assist with basic reporting and monitoring, and contribute to the smooth running of the charity’s office and operations.
