Job description

This role will require interaction with our customers as well as internal stakeholders, product owners, and existing applications to elicit new requirements and turn them into prioritised agile features and stories, lining them up for development and managing them through the pipeline to coordinate with our release schedules for both our online and mobile products.

The role will also include development tasks such as bug fixes, new functionality, unit testing, and code reviews.

Key Responsibilities

Typically activities will include:

  • Liaising with customers and internal stakeholders to elicit requirements
  • Meeting and workshop facilitation for requirements
  • Managing and facilitating agile meetings
  • Feature writing
  • Story writing
  • Creation of acceptance criteria
  • Working closely with developers as part of an agile team to deliver features and stories.
  • Test scripting and testing using agile techniques
  • Maintaining agile backlogs
  • Supporting our product owners
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies
  • Writing new code or updating and fixing existing code using C# and .NET
  • Writing SQL queries and designing database tables
  • Creating unit tests
  • Using source control

Contributing to strategic decision making about the direction of our products.

Qualifications, experience, skills, knowledge, and competencies required to fulfill the role include:

  • Experience working in an Agile environment as a Business Analyst
  • Ability to understand and analyze requirements, transforming them into agile features and stories suitable for developers
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools
  • Experience with MS DevOps to manage features and stories
  • Experience with testing and test management
  • An understanding of good UX and UI design principles
  • Mobile experience
