Siemens Healthineers in Oxford/Bicester is seeking an Operations Training Manager to lead the training function across Manufacturing Operations, ensuring safety, quality and readiness to deliver production objectives.

You will manage Training Facilitators and a network of SMEs, develop a forward-looking strategy covering onboarding, apprenticeships, leadership development and digital transformation, and partner with engineering, quality and HR to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in training/learning leadership within manufacturing.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical capability solutions.
• Experience leading technical training programmes and competency frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Operations Training initiatives aligned to strategic goals.
• Lead workforce capability planning to support growth and transformation.
• Manage and develop a team of Training Facilitators and SMEs.
• Drive onboarding, technical, compliance and skills training across manufacturing operations.
• Continuously improve training programmes to stay relevant and effective.
• Ensure training supports NPI, automation, digitalisation and future technologies.
• Oversee apprenticeships, capability frameworks and leadership development initiatives.
• Implement blended, digital, on-the-job training, simulations and competency assessments.
• Monitor training effectiveness and workforce capability trends to drive improvements.
• Build partnerships with leaders, engineers, quality, HR and external providers.
