Operations Technician – Renewable Energy

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor plant processes to ensure optimal efficiency and performance.

  • Carry out first-line maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault-finding activities.

  • Support outage planning, shutdowns, and routine maintenance activities.

  • Follow established procedures, systems, and safety protocols to maintain compliance and efficiency.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving to drive continuous improvement.

  • Analyse operational data to identify trends and make practical recommendations for process optimisation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Time-served apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3) in an engineering or process discipline.

  • Hands-on experience in a continuous process, production, or operational environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

  • Understanding of health, safety, and environmental best practices within an industrial setting.
