Job description

Our client, a leading independent Lloyd’s broker, is looking for a Business Services Technician who is a Product Line specialist. This role will often be a point of contact for the London-based broking teams who they will support. You will also provide support to their functional management team by developing the technical knowledge of others in the team.

You will work closely with your manager and other team members to manage the administration and support processes in relation to clients’ insurance requirements in accordance with Group policy to achieve targets, develop the business, and deliver an excellent and comprehensive service.

You will also participate in system testing, provision of training, monitoring of data integrity, take part in various project work, and act as a technical referral point for sophisticated debiting and related issues. This role will coordinate all documentation relating to London Market Premium and Policy processing.

Required Experience includes:
  1. Experience in the Platform Acturis (preferable)
  2. Knowledge of the Lloyd’s and London market.
  3. Knowledge of LPAN Production, Xchanging / DXC technology is desirable.
  4. Solid grasp of processes and procedures within the insurance market. Able to audit and check the work of others.
  5. Attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate documentation.

This is a fully remote role and can be based anywhere in the UK.
