Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of tailored value creation strategies that achieve measurable financial and operational benefits, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Manage and deliver tactical projects in transport, warehousing, and control tower operations, utilizing data-driven insights to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
  • Serve as the primary contact for value creation initiatives, fostering trust-based relationships with stakeholders and collaborating with operations teams to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Define and execute projects under a gain share model, establishing KPIs and metrics to measure outcomes and documenting results to demonstrate ROI and enhance customer trust.
  • Act as a liaison between operational teams and strategic stakeholders, coordinating with IT and procurement teams to implement technology solutions and identify cost-saving opportunities across the supply chain.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Commercial Acumen: Demonstrate a strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and financial principles to make informed business decisions that drive profitability and growth.
  • Metrics: A proven ability to analyze and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) is essential, as candidates will be responsible for measuring success and identifying areas for improvement based on data-driven insights.
  • Process Improvement: A track record of implementing process optimization initiatives, utilizing methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma, to enhance operational efficiency and deliver sustainable results.
  • Making Customers Successful: Proven ability to understand customer challenges and goals, providing tailored solutions that drive their success and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Shaping Direction: Demonstrate strategic thinking skills, enabling candidates to influence and shape the direction of projects and initiatives in alignment with customer objectives and market trends.
  • Driving Performance: A strong focus on performance management is essential, with candidates expected to set clear goals, monitor progress, and implement strategies that enhance team effectiveness and achieve outstanding results.
