Overview
Due to continued business growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Operations Support Managers to join our team. Geographically, you will support the operations manager across their portfolio of sites.
Responsibilities
- Manage, inspire, and engage the teams across the portfolio of sites.
- Understand, track, and manage the schools' restaurant profit contribution to the business, with attention to our food and service offering and client expectations.
- Meet with clients and stakeholders to build effective relationships, gain trust, and drive the shared goal of feeding more students with better food.
- Collaborate with chef managers to oversee day-to-day site operations and build excellent client relationships.
- Be prepared to contribute in the kitchen when needed and maintain hands-on involvement where appropriate.
- Communicate effectively across all levels, from the kitchen to the board room.
- Demonstrate self-motivation, resilience, and strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience managing at least 4 sites, guiding chef managers in day-to-day operations and client relationship management.
- A chef by trade, and willing to be in the kitchen when required.
- Comfortable conversing at all levels, from the kitchen to the board room.
- Proficient with Office suite; capable of producing spreadsheets and presentations to demonstrate performance.
Contract Details
Working Weeks: 52 weeks per year (25 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays).
Pay: £38,000 per year plus car allowance of £3,840 per year (paid monthly).
