Job description

The CPD Certification Service is a membership-based organisation that helps over 6,500 organisations produce world-class training and information-based material. We have been doing this for over 25 years, making us experts in the field. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) defines how we improve our skills and competences throughout our working life.

We are seeking a home-based full-time staff member to join our team of 23. The annual starting salary is £31,000, rising to £33,000 after a six-month probationary period. Initial working hours will be 0900 to 1700 with flexible working after probation.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will undertake 'case management', handling member submissions and supervising our processes through to certification. You must be able to cope with a demanding administrative burden, possess a ruthless attention to detail, build member relations, and be able to work independently.

After completing the probationary period, you will train as an assessor, determining if CPD submissions are suitable for certification. Topics covered include a wide range of subjects, from cupcake making to biosecurity and safeguarding.

Requirements
  • You must have a suitable working location, with broadband and a minimum 40MB download speed.
  • You must be educated to tertiary level, possibly have experience in an educational or training environment, and possess excellent English language skills.
  • You must be familiar with Microsoft Office products.
  • We provide all necessary IT equipment and ensure a DSE compliant environment.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates. Please note that you will be required to take a simple English grammar test after the interview.
