CHEP UK Limited in Durham is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day production and yard activities on a rotating 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm shift pattern. You will supervise a team of about 10 colleagues on the shop floor, ensuring safety, quality and performance targets are met each shift.
The role offers hands‑on leadership across production and logistics, with exposure to continuous improvement and cross‑functional collaboration.

Shift Pattern: Rotating 2-shift pattern (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)
Lead from the front and help keep our operation running safely, efficiently and effectively. CHEP is looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our Durham site. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll take responsibility for the day‑to‑day supervision of production and yard operations, ensuring safety, quality and operational targets are achieved every shift. You'll lead a team of approximately 10 colleagues, spending the majority of your time on the shop floor supporting your team, monitoring performance, resolving operational issues and ensuring the operation runs smoothly. The role also provides valuable exposure across both production and logistics activities, helping you develop a broad operational skillset.
