Job summary

FedEx is seeking an Operations Supervisor at Stansted to lead and motivate a team of handlers on the 37.5 hour week. You will drive performance, deliver on hub targets and maintain high levels of customer care while ensuring compliance with HASAWA and security procedures.

The role offers clear career progression and comprehensive training. Strong people management and communication skills are essential, with the ability to work independently or as part of a busy team.

  • Ensure shift performance meets hub targets and KPIs.
  • Produce relevant reports as required by the depot.
  • Effectively communicate to all team members via hub briefing.
  • Ensure HASAWA and security procedures are adhered to and good housekeeping maintained.
  • Manage, train and develop your team through coaching and feedback.
  • Adhere to FedEx policies and procedures.

We have an opportunity for an Operations Supervisor to join our management team based at Stansted.

As an Operations Supervisor you will lead and motivate a team of handlers.

Your roles and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Ensuring the effective performance of the shift in line with Hubs targets and KPI's
  • Ensure that high levels of internal and external customer care are maintained by the shift Produce relevant reports as required by the depot
  • Effectively communicate to all team members via hub briefing etc
  • Ensure that all HASAWA Legislation/Security Procedures are adhered to and that good housekeeping is maintained
  • Manage, train and develop your team for continuous improvement or succession through coaching, delegation and feedback
  • Adhering and gatekeeping FedEx's policies and procedures

To be successful in the role you will have the following skills:
