A fuel storage company in Grangemouth is seeking an Operations Supervisor responsible for managing operational activities and supervising a team. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, NEBOSH certification, and experience in bulk liquid warehousing operations. Operations Supervisor – Grangemouth
About the role
Responsible for the safe and compliant management of Terminal operational activities, within agreed parameters. Supervises, coaches, develops and motivates a team of people, consisting of operational or administrative staff, and ensures the execution of short term (daily, weekly to sometimes monthly) operating objectives and KPI’s.
Key Responsibilities
About You
The successful candidate will have a good level of education in Maths, English and Science.
Appropriate professional qualification, e.g. relevant degree or ILM. NEBOSH certificate or equivalent. Have knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental ‘best practice’ in a high hazard industrial setting be Self-motivated have good interpersonal skills and Team working. The successful candidate will also poses excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving, decision making and have analytical capabilities.
Proficient in the use of IT and software systems be a time served supervisor and have experience in bulk liquid warehousing operations.
