Working Hours:06:00am - 16:00pm, Monday - Friday
Salary: £38,350, £14.75hr (opportunities for overtime)
Principle Duties And Accountabilities
- This is a supervisory role, responsible for assisting the Management in the Support on the Severn Trent Water Contract
Roles And Responsibilities
- To assist in the management of the delivery of planned and reactive services to industrial, commercial and domestic customers in accordance with established quality procedures
- Receive service requests verbally or electronically, providing advice and prices to customers, and coordinate the relevant resources to meet agreed timescales
- To support in H&S and environmental compliance of operations including the preparation of risk and method statements, and the inspection and maintenance of plant
- Use standard and in-house software for a range of tasks including job management and costing as well as reporting and administration
- Manage day to day issues arising from the supervision of field teams including providing advice and instructions, attendance and timekeeping, sickness and other absence, authorization of overtime, coaching, welfare, disciplinary matters and the identification of training needs
- Ensure operatives always keep their vehicles in a clean and roadworthy condition
- Liaise with and assist generally other sections in the Company in the delivery of operational and administrative services to internal and external customers, ensuring customer relations are positively developed and maintained and any customer complaints are dealt with within a timely manner
- Always perform tasks in accordance with H&S and statutory procedures having regard also to the Companys quality management system
- Promote continuous improvement and seek to identify and recommend new methods of working to achieve benefits including greater efficiency, improved quality and safer methods of working
- Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to
- Support with Supervisor Call out
- Operate Large jetting/Tankering Operations including BRMS
- Attend Client comm cell meetings
- Improve performance within an allocated area
- Work within and to the contractual KPI & SLA(s)
- Work along side sub-contractor resources
Health & Safety

Health And Safety Responsibilities Are
- To understand and implement the company health and safety policy
- To ensure and monitor the health, safety and welfare of all staff/sub contractors working under their remit
- To influence and promote a positive health, safety culture within the organisation and lead by example
- To carry out at least 1 x IMS527 Senior Manager tour of works area and 1 x Weekly SHEF report for the depot/offices/workshop. Copies of these are to be submitted to their respective SHEQW representative by the end of each month
- To investigate all occupational accidents and incidents using the company 2, 2, 2 process and produce detailed reports with supplementary evidence with support from the SHEQW department
- To report all health, safety and environmental incidents to relevant persons and your SHEQW representative upon notification or at least within 2 hours
- To ensure safety briefings/TBTs are delivered and signed registers are completed
- To ensure you are aware of the company fire and first aid arrangements, and emergency evacuation procedure
Qualifications / Competency
- Previous experience in the transport, waste or logistics industry desired
- Must have the ability to take on responsibility for your own workload
- Proficient using Microsoft Office systems including Word and Excel
- Good communication and observation skills
- Able to work with a minimum of supervision and to receive instructions remotely
- Ability to work under pressure and assess all aspects of workload in a methodical manner
- Must have the ability to take on responsibility of working within very controlled guidelines and environmental regulations
- Must have SSTS Qualifications
- Must haveHGV Class 2 & HGV Class 1
