Overview

As our Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role supporting the Facilities Manager and assist in the supervising of the Support Crew, working alongside them to ensure they complete their daily tasks in a timely and competent manner. You will be a role model for the team, leading by example and ensuring high standards of service and professionalism. In this role you must deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every guest enjoys the perfect Forest Feeling experience.

Responsibilities
  • Providing support and motivation to the Housekeeping Team to ensure high morale and productivity.
  • Overseeing general maintenance tasks, utilising tools and skills for fixing machinery, and completing decorative repairs as needed.
  • Conducting regular checks of cabins to ensure everything is in good working order, addressing any issues raised by guests promptly.
  • Responding to and resolving maintenance concerns, including problems with appliances (e.g., dishwashers not draining) and issues with heating and hot water.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving various maintenance challenges as they arise, ensuring guest satisfaction and cabin functionality.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • A passion for the outdoors and motivation throughout all weather conditions.
  • Confident communicating with customers, handling complaints, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Experience in providing training to team members and creating a positive learning environment.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues quickly and efficiently.
