Job Description:

About the Company:

Off to Work is one of the UK’s premier hospitality staffing agencies. We support a diverse and exciting range of clients — from major global events and luxury hotels and contract catering in corporate, commercial, and educational environments. We’re now looking for our next superstar Operations & Staffing Manager to lead from the front and help us deliver excellence, every time.

About the Role:

Our Operations & Staffing Managers are often found out on-site with our clients making sure what we are delivering is on point. From checking in teams and carrying out uniform and grooming checks to even working a shift where a senior presence is needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients across multiple sectors – events, hotels, corporate catering, and more – ensuring outstanding service and client satisfaction.
  • Coordinating staffing logistics to place the right team members in the right roles, every time.
  • Supporting, mentoring, and motivating a pool of hospitality staff – driving engagement, development, and retention.
  • Leading operational excellence – from shift planning and service delivery to issue resolution and performance feedback.
  • Generating new business through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach – helping to grow our client base and expand our reach.
  • Collaborating with our wider team to ensure service consistency, brand standards, and seamless execution.

Qualifications:

Experience in hospitality staffing, operations, events management, or agency environments.

Required Skills:

  • A natural communicator and relationship builder – able to build trust with clients, staff, and colleagues alike.
  • Highly organised, solutions-focused, and calm under pressure – able to spin many plates with a smile.
  • Commercially savvy, with a drive to seek out and convert new business opportunities.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality, service excellence, and people development.
  • Willingness to be hands-on, flexible, and available during key event times when needed.

Pay range and compensation package:

£35,000-£45,000 basic PA dependent on experience plus bonuses
