Job summary

Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking an Operations Specialist - Tax to join our Belfast office. This hybrid role sits in the Silver Tax and Wealth Management Team and focuses on cost basis processing, tax reporting accuracy, and resolving investment account issues.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in a similar role with strong analytical and communication abilities. Candidates should have SQL/Excel experience and be prepared for required FINRA/SIE certifications in time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of prior work experience in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with US tax reporting /1042s advantageous.
• Experience with SQL and/or advanced Excel skills advantageous.
• Self motivated and able to work independently (certifications will be required within job role).
• Obtain a passing score on the SIE Exam within 90 days and FINRA Series 99 within the year.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are looking for an Operations Specialist - Tax, to join us in our Belfast Office as part of the Apex Silver Tax and Wealth Management Team.

Silver Management is a leading provider of business and technology solutions for the investment services industry.

The Silver team delivers cost-effective brokerage operations, cost basis reporting and wealth management solutions for our clients.

Duties/Responsibilitie s
