Team/Role Overview

The Operations Senior Business Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, governance, oversight and regulatory reporting activities in coordination with the Compliance and Control team. The overall objective of this role is to develop and manage a dedicated internal KYC (Know Your Client) program at Citi.

What you’ll do
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive reporting and Management Information Systems (MIS)for KYC Operations, leveraging data, metrics, and analytics.
  • Lead daily operations and decision-makingrelated to data, metrics, and analytics functions within the ICG KYC BSU.
  • Collaborate with a team of data analyststo perform essential MIS functions across the organization.
  • Engage with diverse internal and external stakeholders(e.g., AML Compliance, IT, Senior Management) to provide data-driven insights and support decision-making for the ICG KYC Utility.
  • Act as a liaison with Technologythrough the full development lifecycle (BRD, FRD, UAT, Production Support), ensuring KYC data validation and authentication across all Citi Businesses.
  • Contribute to the design, modeling, and automation of databases, tools, scorecards, and reports.
  • Define business rules and document system requirementsfor technology development, then collaborate on developing new data solutions with business users.
  • Manage end-to-end data processes, including cleansing, consolidation, validation, and reporting.
  • Demonstrate technical expertisein supporting various data environments such as BO, SAP, Oracle, SQL, MS-Access, and MS-Excel.
  • Perform quality reviews, manage projects, and operate autonomouslyas a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for senior stakeholders and team members.
