We have a Centre of Excellence in the UK for the manufacture of electrodes and biosensors used by patients and healthcare professionals for the day-to-day management of diabetes. The site has been instrumental in the research, development, and manufacture of the FreeStyle Libre Continuous Glucose Monitoring System as well as exciting developments in the Libre family including FreeStyle Libre 2, FreeStyle Libre 3, and the Libre Sense system.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will provide technical support, transfer knowledge across the Operations team, and drive continuous improvements in our processes.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to maintain production efficiency and product quality.
Transfer technical knowledge of manufacturing and product testing processes.
Support and mentor less experienced team members.
Ensure compliance with company processes, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Manage and document environmental monitoring, analysis, and investigations.
Own and progress Exception Reports (ERs), CAPAs, and Validation Master Plan activities.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by characterizing, validating, and verifying new products.
Identify and drive process and product improvements.
Lead technical investigations and design control projects.
Communicate results and ensure effective communication within the Technical Group.
Additional Responsibilities:
Ensure the ethical conduct of onsite clinical studies.
Manage the Internal Clinical Study programme.
Train and oversee study staff.
Ensure compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
Communicate study-related information to relevant parties.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you should have a higher degree in a technical or scientific discipline. Experience in a laboratory, scientific, or technical environment is essential. Strong written and oral communication skills and proficiency in software packages such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required.
