Caterpillar in Desford, Leicestershire, is seeking an Operations Quality Auditor/Technician to join the captive flow team. You will conduct audits, handle basic operational duties and contribute to quality improvements while following standard work.

The role offers a permanent contract with salary £27,074 rising to £28,532 via role triggers, 27 days leave, a production bonus, pension, and parking. Travel not required.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct audits on fully built machines within the captive flow area following inspection standard work.
• Carry basic operational duties including PSPS and fluid top ups to ready machines for PDI.
• Record defect information in detail via electronic or visual boards.
• Clearly communicate defects to other areas and support personnel as issues arise.
• Participate in defect investigations and projects as required.
• Support and train new team members.
• Keep the work area clean, tidy and safe in line with 5S and TPM.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policy and safe working practices.

As an Operations Quality Technician within Captive Flow, you will audit machines as well as carrying out some operational duties within the captive flow area.

What You Will Do:

• Conduct audits on fully built machines within the captive flow area following inspection standard work.
• Carry basic operational duties including but not limited to PSPS and fluid top ups, ensuring machine is ready for PDI process.
• Record defect information in detail via electronic, manual processes or visual boards.
• Clearly communicate defects to other areas and support area personnel as issues arise.
• Participate in defect investigations and projects as required.
• Support and train new team members.
• Keep the work area clean, tidy and safe in line with 5S and total preventative maintenance (TPM).
• Adhere to the company’s Health & Safety policy and safe working practice.
